Galstian Vruir (1924-1996)

1924 – born in Yerevan.

1958 – graduated from Art College named after P.Terlemezian.

1959-1964 – studied at the Yerevan Institute of Fine Arts and Drama.

1983 – personal exhibition at the Artists’ Union of Armenia, Yerevan.

1996 – died in Yerevan.

2004 – posthumous personal exhibition in Artists’ Union of Armenia.

The works are kept in the Modern Art Museum (Yerevan), National Gallery of Armenia (Yerevan), State Tretyakov Gallery (Moscow), Museum of Oriental Art (Moscow), in the museums of Hrazdan, Jermuk, etc. (Armenia), as well as in many private collections in Armenia, in the republics of former USSR, Germany (big collection in Munich), USA, Beirut etc.
