Kalents Harutyun (1910-1967)

1910 –born in the city of Kyurin, Turkey.

1915 – moved to Paris with his family, then to Beirut. Was studying in the private studios of different artists, one of them being Claude Michellier.

1935 – became one of the founders of Lebanon Artists’ Union.

1967 – died in Yerevan.

The works are kept in the Home-Museum of Harutyun and Armine Kalents (Yerevan), Modern Art Museum (Yerevan), NGA (Yerevan), in many private collections in Armenia and abroad.
