Makhokhyan Vardan (1869-1937)

1869 - born in Trapizone.
There received his primary education.

1987 – graduated from Carnot Sanasaryan gymnasia.
1891-1894 - studied at Berlin Academy of Arts.
1925 - was awarded the Gold Medal at the international exhibition of Latin America countries.

Graduating from the academy studied his journey to Egypt, France, Belgium, the Caucasus, searching subjects for his paintings.
On his way home he stayed at Aivazovsky’s studio wanting to improve professional skills. 
1937 - died in Berlin.
 The works are kept in NGA (Yerevan), numerous museums and private collections all over the world.
