Tutundjian Leon (1905-1968)

1905 - born in Amasia and rendered an orphan during the Armenian Genocide.

1925 - In the "Ney" gallery took place his first exhibition which was estimated by the art critics as a "phenomenon"

1926 - exhibition in the Gallery of Surrealists.

1927 - he opened his own studio.

1929 - became the founder of the society of the surrealists. Participated to "The Abstract Art" exhibition along with Miro, Picasso Villon   and others in Amsterdam.

1931 - Became one of the founders of "Abstraction - Creation" group.

1945 - Along with Carzou, Jansem and others took part in the exhibition of Armenian artists in "Commartin" studio.
1946-1956 - was the participant of "Salon of Independents".

1957 - the retrospective exhibition in Stockholm.

1958 - personal exhibition in "Colette Allendy" gallery, where his works of 1924-1929 were exhibited

1966 - opening of his personal exhibition in the gallery "Yvon Lambert" in Paris.is)
1968 - died in Paris.
